SMS_S60 v1.6

This version fixes some annoying issues, and has been separately optimized for 3rd and 5th edition phones.

Changes introduced in v1.6:
  • Fixed settings menus not properly saving changes when options were directly clicked.
  • Fixed a crash when attempted to load a game state from a different machine mode than the current one. Now, instead of crashing, it just won't load. NTSC saved states are not compatible with PAL ones.
Download v1.6 for 5th edition or later:

Open C library is required (3rd edition only):

    Hi i have a little problem, I can't play on portrait mode on N95, it give a dialog error, can only landscape. Thanks for your work! it's awesome can play sms games on my phone :)

    Hey, yes, in fact, it's not an error. Your N95 has 240x320 resolution which means master system screen doesn't fit (it needs at least 256 width), so thats why.
    Same happens on my N81, can only play landscape modes.
    Anyway, can't you assign your multimedia keys to play landscape nicely?

    Yes using Magic Key to map multimedia keys and use it can play great, once again thanks for your work!. Do you speak spanish Ruben?

    Hi Luis, the problem is the same as the guy above, the only way to play portrait is to have more than 240 pixels width (any S60v5). However most 3rd edition phones are 240x320 which means you can only play landscape.

    good emulator but i have a problem, for example in sonic i can't jump when moving, i mean i can't press multiple keys at same time.
    has sabido mi problema ?

    Ok, no tienes mas aplicaciones en segundo plano
    o algo asi con lo que pueda haber conflicto?
    En mi N81 y C6 no tengo problema vamos...
    De todos modos lo mirare a ver si veo indicios del problema

    no sé por qué no puedo saltar o tirar durante el movimiento, tengo que parar para saltar o tirar.
    no puedo utilisar 2 teclas al mismo tiempo solo una.

    otra cosa, el emulador no puede recordar la carpeta del juegos cuando lo cierro, cada vez tengo que buscar la.

    Ya... eso de que se guarde la ultima carpeta vista tendria que ponerlo, ahora mismo hay que navegar siempre desde el principio

    Ok, y tambien no puede recordar "Screen Orientation" (Rotate None).
    y para master system solo puedo jugar en landscape mode.

    Why don't you take off 16 pixels of 256? You could take 8 pixels left and 8 pixels right, so the screen will e centrelized.
